Winter landscape

Not a garden picture, but taken in January across a local farm field, looking towards the Coast mountains. I liked the bi-level poplar tree screen and the strong colours of the earth and the bare blueberry bushes. A rare, sunny winter day in this part of the world.

Beautiful Patterns

Your eye caught these beautiful patterns. And we're all the richer for it. The contrast of the poplar gold against the dark, the red against the gold of the road (?) - reminds me of a medieval tapestry.
I'm partial to poplars. I'm sure glad someone else is too.

This is my favourite picture. I prefer green winters, so the snow off on the horizon is enough for me. I, too, love the colours. This picture even reminds me of Italy. Bellisimo!
What a view

The colors and various heights of the different plants followed by the mountains makes a very neat scene.
Would be nice if the mountains showed up a little more...but that is nature.
Enjoy seeing the red of the blueberries...yum.
