what does a rose hip look like

Hi,
Thank you for all your great articles, what does a rose seed / hip look like? How can I find it on the rose bush?
Sorry if the question sounds trivia, but I believe I've not sure when seen one.

Thank you,

Doug says - no problem. It's the small red ball left over after a rose blooms. They start out greenish and then turn red as they mature. Different roses have different shades of red but that's what's called a rose hip.

Thank you too. I did not know if there was something wrong with two of my rose bushes that seem to produce what looks like little tomatos after the blooms. They are all over them.
