Virginia Creeper is wilting

My Virginia Creeper does well in the spring but come summer the leaves start wilting, turning an orange/red and brown on the edges. It is hot here, 85-90 degrees daily and it gets at least 7 hours of sun a day. Does it need water, more sun, fertilizer? It looks like it's dying and it does this every summer. Thanks.

Doug says you don't say where you're growing it but it sounds as if it is being well and truly stressed out. Lack of water (wilting) and the leaf edges turning colors are pretty clear indications of stress.

You might also (if you're in the South) give it a bit less light - that kind of high-light level isn't going to make it too happy.
