This is a wild vine inside a ball of ice. It is curled up and waiting for spring to release it.

Carla, thanks for the complements on my photos. It's what I do especially in the winter when gardening isn't possible. My camera is not a professional SLR, but as you can see it takes sharp pictures. Currently I'm using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. I have owned several Lumix cameras and liked all of them. I may upgrade someday, but it will still be a Lumix.
