tomatoe vine wilt/blight???

some of my tomatoe vines are just starting to wilt and die, starting at the end of the tomatoe stems and comtinueing back. i have pinched off the wilted/withered parts and taken them far away from rest of plants buts keeps spreading. What is it and what to do Carol F

Doug says that wilting from the ends - the growing tips - usually means some kind of root damage and water stress. Tip curling could also mean powdery mildew or herbicide damage.

Leaves curling from the bottoms are usually blights and diseases in my experience.
