Tiny Balls of SOil

THere are a couple of areas in our yard where the soil seems to creep up. It looks like tiny little balls of dirt. The grass doe snot seem to be affected by it and there are no nearby plants.

This may have started about two months ago.

Doug says it sounds as if you're seeing worm castings on top of the soil. Mow your grass taller so you won't see them. Celebrate because you might have healthy worms improving your soil.
