Starting Petunia Seed

I have started Wave Petunias inside and have good germination. My question: How long before the true leaves come out and should I start fertilizing? I started in a soiless mix and they have been up for a week. Janet

Doug says the growth rate will depend on your temperature and lighting so there isn't one single answer. On average, you're going to be another 3-4 weeks to see those 4 true leaves if all things are going right and conditions are good.

Feeding - yes BUT not heavily. Once a week with quarter strength is lots.
