Rhubarb and powdery mildew

Is rhubarb affected by powderly mildew? I have leaves turning yellow, then dying...I haven't seen the telltale powdering on the leave tops, just the yellowing of leaves.

I have a LOT of powdery mildew in this area...just started gardening here two years ago and this is discouraging.

Doug says that yellowing leaves in September is probably the plant going dormant and giving up the ghost for the winter. Powdery mildew isn't normally a problem with rhubarb.
