Replanting rose trees

Hi Doug,
Is it possible to replant rose trees when they are not dormant and what is the procedure please
I can get hold of a few thousand Hybrid rose trees at a very reasonable price, they have just finished their first blooming cycle, I wish to plant them in plastic bags untill I can resetlle them later
Thankyou

Doug says that I'd be spraying the bejabbers out of them with an anti-desiccant (tops and bottoms of all leaves) to stop them from wilting. Then I'd move them. You're going to lose some if you're taking them out of the ground and disturbing the roots but a heavy coat of anti-desicccant will keep most alive.

Water well in the plastic bags. I'm not sure I'd want to move them the second time until they go dormant or the roots have re-established themselves in the plastic bags. And when you do move them out of the bags (black bags - not clear plastic) try not to disturb the roots at all.
