powdery mildew on seedling

How do I get rid of powdery mildew that has appeared on my seedlings? Will it affect it growth when I transplant? or the soil there?

Doug says that powdery mildew on seedlings can be controlled exactly the same way as powdery mildew on adult plants. See this article for control

The one thing that really causes this problem with seedlings is overcrowding. You have too many small plants in a crowded space. Thin those plants out and increase the air circulation around them to control the problem next time.
