Pool filter run-off and plants

Is pool filter run-off (diatomaceous earth) bad for plants?

Doug says that if you're asking if diatomaceous earth is bad for plants - the answer is no. It's fine.

If you're asking if the water itself with the chlorine content is bad, again my experience is that the majority of plants don't worry about it. I never lost plants because of pool runoff although I know some folks worry about it. (I don't)
