Old Rose Taking a Milk Bath

This is a rose that was growing in my yard when we bought our home. I've never known what it is exactly, but after I bought a rose at a garden center, this rose started fighting black spot. This picture is proof that with diligence one can be successful with organic gardening practices. (Look closely for the milk on the leaves)
