Monkshood underplanted wtih?

Hi, Just wondered if you had any suggestions for what to plant under/around Monkshood, to hide the not-so-attractive spikes of stem that these plants have.

Doug says I've used daylilies quite successfully to do this kind of thing. They're slow growing / expanding enough that they can be controlled and bloom either earlier or later than the monkshood (depending on the species of monkshood you grow)
