Lilac leaves curling on new "Miss Kim" lilac

I have 2 new lilac plants with leaves that have recently curled. I don't want to lose these plants. Do they have a virus and if they do, how do I treat them? Susan

Doug says that it sounds like common powdery mildew. This plant gets this very easily and quickly and your twisting leaves is a primary symptom. Here's the link to control. Ignore the fact that the page is about roses - the treatment is the same.
