New growth in January

A bare root plant from last fall this Lenten Rose had sprouted on 1-13-08. We had a brief warm period that melted the snow. While taking a walk around the shade garden, I found several plants hanging onto their leaves or beginning to grow.

I want one! That has to be in my plan : )...of new plants for the year!
To have the early flowers would be so nice after all the snow and ice we have had this winter.
