Leaf Spot

I have three tub fuschia's that appear to have black spots on then. they are Princess Dollar and Marinka.

The new shoots do not appear to have been affected.

Is it a pest/disease or mismanagement problem please.

I have never had this before.

Doug says that fuschia get a series of black spot type of fungal issues. It's mostly weather related although keeping the leaves constantly moist can really make the problem worse. Do use a fungicide on it such as Bordeaux mix or a lime-sulfur (watch the doseage on both as you don't want to burn the leaves on this plant). It is also particularly bad if the plant has been in high winds and leaf damage results.
