how to kill yucca

How do you kill this stuff? I have dug it up, put rocks on it, you name it. It comes back no matter what.

Doug says start digging, keep digging. Every bit of root you leave will produce a new plant. Every time you see a new shoot, simply dig it out. It will take several times but eventually the roots get worn out, depleted of energy and they die.

I think I've killed a yucca......
by: Carol in North West Arkansas

Burned them to the ground, sawed off as many leaves as possible, with a large drill bit, drilled into each whorl, used a funnel to pour in lethal undiluted weed killer, covered them with salt and waited.....been 4 weeks and no sign of regrowth.

Vinegar

You might try vinegar to kill the yucca. It worked on greenbriar when nothoing elsed seemed to do any good. And it's environmentally safe. Beats using Roundup, which didn't work.

One way most people kill a yucca when they don't want is by watering them everyday for a few weeks at the most. May just rot them out all the way down in the roots. This is want I learn when I was working at the garden centers,:-) Really! bets digging ,most likely, anyway, best of luck to you.
