Hollyhocks

Hi, I live in Minnesota and I am wondering if I need to spread my seeds yet this fall or wait until spring to do it. I have always just left them, eventually cut off the long stems and they seem to do it themselves. This fall has been a crazy one up here and I saved some of the seeds to spread now, but I am not sure if I should wait. Thank-you,

Doug says that hollyhock seeds do nicely just left to their own devices in the garden. I seldom save them unless I want to share with friends. Toss them where you want them to grow (Nov is equally fine) and be done with it. Or if you want - you can sow them next spring. Either works from a practical point of view.
