green or brown compost

Hello I would like to know if banana plants and their leaves are considered green or brown for compost purposes. Thanks.

They're green. All plant refuse (non-cellulose) is considered green.

i think that composting is great tea leaves and coffee grounds make a compost better. But make shor you dont put coffee grounds in a pot because of the coffees high salt level.oh and also put the coffee grounds out side because it heats up to high temps and sometimes kills weed seads.
