American Lady butterfly caterpillar

Your caterpillar will become a American Lady butterfly.
The caterpillars feed on Sweet everlastings (Pseudognaphalium obtusifolium) and another asters like cudweeds.
The adult butterflies feed on the nectar of many flowers.
These butterflies are found over much of North America south to Columbia and Venzuela. This genus of butterflies migrate much like the monarchs do. Here is a website about migration research for this group of butterflies -
