Grass in a new garden bed

The landscaper of our condo created a flower bed by turning over the lawn & then putting a rich topsoil on it. Well, the perennials are doing very well but the grass has started growing (very well) in this new bed. It has been a very tedious job pulling this grass out. I know Round-up will kill the grass but I perfer to use something organic. Any suggestions?
Doug says there is a product that is acetic acid (vinegar) mixed with a lemon juice acid. The vinegar is NOT regular vinegar but a higher concentration of acetic acid. This burns the leaves but not kills the roots. There are other products made with straight acetic acid that also work very nicely but may be harder to find.
You will have to spot spray several times to wipe out grass. So you spray once. It regrows from stored energy in the roots. And then you respray again. Two sprays normally stop the problem although a few plants will require three.
Finding this or a similar product means searching the sources of organic herbicide - for something containing these two products (or just the high-strength vinegar because that's the really potent one)
