Goldfinch nibbling on bachelor button

GOLDFINCH

I was standing in my enclosed porch and noticed several goldfinches enjoying the plant. I took the picture from behind glass doors, so it is a bit cloudy. I would have lost the moment if I had opened the door and gone outside as they were just about 15 feet away from my position.

This is a very cool pic - and not only that but you're going to have a bumper crop of Bachelor Buttons next near as this one was spreading seed as well as eating it. :-)
