This is my favorite spot. The flowers are so beautiful, the hammock so inviting. Just a tranquil, restful place to be.

Visit from a green frog to the garden watering hole. What a great treat. Love to see things up close and personal so I can get all his handsome details, so I won't forget his visit.

The path to least resistance

by Penny Duer
(Latty, OH, USA)

I live in Northwest Ohio and love to garden and take this path often to relax. With Knockout roses on your right and grasses and Blackeyed Susan's on the left you can walk under the Yellow Trumpet vine to the waterfall on the other side. My place to unwind!

Wild Abandon

A hollyhock has volunteered to help out in this spot which, depending on the season, features a pleasing jumble of sweet rocket, day lilies, sedum, tulips, glads, violets, birdsfoot trefoil, batchelors button, clematis, japanese anemone and french lilac.

Amazing what you can cram into a tight space!

My husband made me this bench this year and it's a new flower bed, so not as full as I would like it. I still think this yellow flower is gorgeous, even without any company.

Tropical Serenity

Living in Florida allows me the opportunity to enjoy many varieties of palm trees. Here I caught this palm in the morning with sun rising up behind it. Life has many beautiful moments if we take the time to enjoy them.

Admit it. Winter Break is awesome

by Jane Brunton

Welcome Winter Break

Welcome Winter Break

Come on admit it. If you are a northern gardener like me - much as we love the digging, planting, watering and harvesting, we still enjoy that moment of satisfaction when the tools are cleaned, the hoses are hung by the rafters with care, the rain barrels are drained and we know we won't need them again till spring.
