forget me nots germination

hi doug - you are so helpful - i have a question about seeds in packages - i ususally place them on a paper towel on a side plate and cover them with another sheet of paper towel and then proceed to spray them several times a day. do you think this is a good way to start seeds - i then plant them in soil. i am wondering however if these seeds will benefit from this treatment (forget me nots) as they seem much harder shelled than most - please advise and thanks
Doug says that forget me nots will germinate this way with no trouble at all. :-) They'll germinate if you give them a sniff of moisture or a hint of soil (pretty easy seed even with a hard seed coat) :-)
