Fish Emulsion Alternative

I live in an area highly populated with bears and am worried that if I use fish emulsion in my vegetable garden the aroma may invite a lot of company digging up my garden looking for the source. Any experience or insight, also what would be a good second choice instead of fish emulsion?

Doug says look for an organic fertilizer based on soybeans. That "shouldn't" attract varmits (big or small) Other waste products such as blood meal are going to attract large predators as well so be careful there.
