A winter window box
Every year long after my coleus has died and the sweet potato vine has shed all its leaves, I start my hunt for dried stuff from my yard. I have several ornamental grasses, so I start there then add whatever I can find that looks good. For color I cut either small branches from our pine trees or from evergreen shrubs in the yard. Then for christmas I added a wooden reindeer and some red berries. This window is over my kitchen sink, so I enjoy my winter window box every time I'm at the sink!
