I use Winter sowing for coneflower seeds and have gobs of seedlings each spring! It takes me about 2 months to finally get all of the planted in the beds. I have just thrown wildflower seeds out into the bed in the spring and they have grown for me. You could probably try Winter Sowing them also, and see what happens.

The wild canaries love those seeds. Could they be the culprits?
