Come Sit Down
At 7400 feet elevation my garden is built around the walls of a circular brick courtyard so that I can dig, weed and water without my feet leaving the dry brick.
Beyond is natural growth and a Backyard Wildlife Habitat.
Bear, moose, deer, porcupine, red fox and coyote are regular visitors.
A drip and soaker irrigation system surrounds the courtyard and allows us time away without fear of anything getting too parched. Now if I could just get the big annual pots in the system, too!
