Orange/Pink rose on One Root

I have a climber which produces beautiful orange roses -- but something is amiss! The same bush is also yielding a rogosa type miniature rose that is magenta pink! I don't understand.

I checked and both branches are coming from the same rootbase! Believe it or not????

Help!

Doug says that indeed they are coming from the same rose "rootbase". The orange rose is coming from above the graft and the reddish one is coming from below the graft.

Below the graft is the rootstock and any cane coming from below this rose plant graft should be removed.
