Pink Hibiscus

Pink Hibiscus

I caught this beauty on one of my neighborhood walks. This was a flower that was on a plant the was at least 7 feet tall and just popped with color! I don't know what the name of this flower or plant is, but I do know it is a keeper!

Hibiscus or Rose of Sharon
by: Burnice

The photos and information on this website are excellent. The photo of the pink hibiscus reminds me of the rose of sharon bushes we have along the back and sides of our back yard. They are beautiful. My favorite is the white rose of sharon with the burgundy center. We also have mauve, all white, and pink rose of sharon. They also remind me somewhat of hollyhocks my Father had in our vegetable garden many many years ago!
