Ziegler Water Feature

Ziegler Water Feature

A stream flows counterclockwise on the left, supporting a watercress crop. A cascade and waterfall flow on the right. It was built from collected stones and several local mosses and plants. The music it makes is soothing to the soul.

Fly A Canadian Canorous Canopy

by wkeithscott
(Armour height's, TO, ON, Canada)

The Blue sky, and water touch the Tree's, then me.

The Blue sky, and water touch the Tree's, then me.

HI ALL: Only in Canada 'U' say, plot 50x200, the Armour Pres. Church in the lateral backround, 'organ sound's constantly prevail', filtering thru not 'Greenwich' but hear-by this mature greenleaf'd place, among the urban song-birds, host some catbird's no less.
Beg's me, 'put down my Glaive I did', and 'touch the gremal thing', closer to my heart it all ring's, amidst such toil to bring.
And with me, now these changing scene's, an lovely Hedon, and partner to share it's master's ring. You cannot walk among these 'tree's', and feel less, than an hugger, some such sublime, and feel the need for good black rich earth, water, and some sun to please.
Whether 'Grey aside', whom and what mean's much to many, I'll settle for just another simple green-day, even 'one's final', through any later window to display.
Watch an moment, even lighted 7/47 cannot escape my dream's, in Hope...Me, Max, and Madge can come out to play, suit the 'flag another day'. Oh many such friend's, even childhood, stay here...in memory of delight, an heritage not forgotten, just the need has change'd, to allow such fine thing's now!
Plant an seed, plant an tree....I did, some 30 year's ago, all else came along I did little else but listen to the rain, and thing's like that, no shame, just JOY, no shame here...just Peace.
And good song-bird's, the doves galore.

Garden Guest

by Gregory Blount
(Grand Lake, Ketchum, Okl)

This little rough green snake makes his home amidst the Martin House gourd vines growing along the fence behind our raised bed garden. The vines have spread about 25 feet in each direction, so I only get an occasional glimpse of this friendly little guy. He's not the least bit shy. I love spending time looking for him amongst the vines.

Even with regular watering, plants can wither just from the heat factor.

Even with regular watering, plants can wither just from the heat factor.

With so many days over 100 degrees, it has been hard to keep anything alive.
