Do these have to be taken inside for the winter? And what shall I do with it in the fall?
Doug says that if we're talking about Datura and/or Brugmansia, then yes they will die if left out over winter in most parts of Ontario. Some varieties will self-sow (if they have tons of flowers on them and they're only 3-5 feet tall) and you'll have a weed problem with them next year. The taller forms need to be taken in because they really don't do well outside and in my experience tend to flower much heavier in the second year anyway.
