Absolutely winter

This year we had the best snow storm we have ever had. and this red barn close to my house stood out like a sore thumb against all the white snow.

Very Pretty shot. Reminds me why I relocated to the south...all that snow. Arrrgh! Nonetheless, there is a certain beauty to be found in snow and this shot is making me homesick. (lol)

The snow fall was beautiful, but I would say that the barn is a beautiful thumb not a sore one...it makes the photo and adds the much needed color of winter. I have noticed a lot of the snow photos are so black and white looking. Thank goodness for red barns!
