A Watchful Eye
This past week the hummers have been feeding heavily ,not to mention the chasing and the bickering that has been going on among them , as some try to dominate the feeders and the flowers. They will soon be ready to fly south , only to return next spring. Here is one hummer as he keeps a watchful eye for intruders of his own kind.They have a habit of ambushing one another from among the flower foliage .
